Hello everyone,
Welcome back to Term 3- whatever it looks like for you and your family.
Yesterday I sent an email out to individual families to guide attendance in light of the recent extended lockdown. We use the email addresses loaded onto our enrolment system, so if yours has changed – perhaps you provided a work email address and you have since moved, please inform us or you may miss important correspondence.
We have had between 15-20% of students attend school this week and they have done the same work as students working from home.
Some staff have been helping Jim, the GA to clear out some resources and we came across some antiquated equipment. We plan to sell these pieces on eBay or GumTree or similar, but wanted to give the school community the first opportunity to purchase them. Please contact the school by texting the school mobile (0476 836 216) and the highest bidder by the end of next week can claim the bounty! All proceeds go directly back to the school, and the students will then benefit. Check out the photos at the end of the newsletter.
Warm regards
Ruth Rogers
Principal
We welcome Year 3 boy, Ashton into Room 13.
He has settled in well with our other six boys. Ashton enjoys maths activities on the interactive whiteboard, the gym, the bike track, walking around the oval, library activities and of course, our playground.
Ashton quickly made friends with our parrot puppet, Screech!
